Hmm, I killed AvastEngSv.exe yesterday and today it eats 33% again; considering WeSt5 said, there seems to be something wrong. I made two dumps of AvastEngSv.exe (yesterday and today) so if you need some I can upload it. @jan.svoboda
Hi, thank you for reporting the issues wit high CPU load of aswEngSrv.exe process. Could you please collect performance logs for couple of seconds of such CPU load by running this command(s) in elevated command prompt (cmd.exe). You can start logging by command: wpr -start CPU -start diskio -start fileio -filemode
Now please let if run for couple of second and then stop logging by: wpr -stop avast.etl
Then please compress/zip the file avast.etl and upload it here for analysis. Thank you in advance.
