Maybe my 1GB issue may be gone with this… :folded_hands:

This might be a pointless question that I’ve already asked several times without getting an answer… Is it still not possible to do a “custom” installation in setup before the installation happens?

I don’t believe so as mentioned in this post by RejZoR.

PLEASE include a “custom” installation in setup, because, I have the right to choose what’s not to installed.

Custom setup used to be the standard. For almost two years now, it has not been possible to perform a custom installation. They force us to install everything. Do you still want to use their product, when they aggressively push all this bloatware, adware, and scareware, which also includes spyware? This process has its own name: enshittification.

I too believe it should be an option at the start - not that I personally have need of it.

But did when I used
Outpost Firewall Pro is a discontinued Windows personal firewall and security software originally developed by Agnitum.

Has 26.10 public version now been released?

It seems so. Updates available for stable Avast 26.9, and offline installer shows it’s now 26.10
