there is a new beta version ready - build 26.8.11122.

What Was Fixed

:clapper_board: Media Protection

Battery and Energy Saver Awareness: Automatic media scanning now pauses while Windows Energy Saver is on, including when your PC is plugged in. Manual scans still run at any time.

:shield: Protection

Protection Service Stability: Fixed a crash of the identity protection service that could happen shortly after a clean install. The service no longer restarts on its own.

:brick: Firewall & VPN

VPN Connection with Firewall Rules: Fixed a case where a firewall setting was turned off by mistake when settings were applied from a management policy. This could stop VPN from connecting.

Known Issues

:shield: Protection

Service Log Error After Install: [Critical] The main service may write a communication error to its log after installation. Protection keeps working normally.

:package: Installer

Leftover Files After Uninstall: A few browser cache files and one Start menu registry entry can stay on the disk after uninstall.
