Moral of the story: Change your router’s default password.

Moral of the story: Change your router's default password.
That can be said for anything that has a default password. Always play it safe and change any default or reassigned password ASAP :)

If the router manufactures would make users change the password this would not happen. Apple’s AirPort Extreme and Airport Express routers prompt you to setup a secure password during the setup process

With names like “AirPort Extreme” and “AirPort Express” and half an ounce of imagination I would expect them to be taken out and shot on the spot if they did not.

For the likes of Ma & Pa and their D-Link on the outskirts of “Neverheardofit”, Montana … I would be more forgiving … but I would still hope someone gave them the same advice.

Are you saying that the name AirPort give away the fact that it is a wireless router? or what? ??? I dont get how the “taken out and shot on the spot” comment relates to the product name anymore than WRT54G or WRT300N
