New To Avast

Hi,
I’m new to Avast, and just installed 4.7 Home on an old Win95 computer.
The current version of virus data base makes reference to a date in April of this year ( 0617-3.04/28/06 ).
Do I need to run the AVS update or the Program update? Or both?

You need to update both the virus database and the program

If you connect that computer to Internet and ask for avast update, you’ll get both.
