How to provide feedback
Please for specific issues set a new topic in the Beta section (https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=15.0). For general open discussion feel free to use this thread.
Or use the feedback form in the program GUI or in the SafeZone browser.
Changes from last beta version:

SafeZone browser should now automatically import bookmarks from old SafeZone
I’m not sure if this occurred earlier, but right clicking the try icon and selecting ‘Show last popup message’ fails to show said message, in this case an Ad/Enticement/Welcome Gift of some sort.
I generally don’t go clicking buttons like this being a trusting sort (NOT), my main concern is for other instances of popup not being redisplayed. I had already done an image capture, but I was going to investigate further (click the darn button), but to no avail.
Not sure why the welcome gift even arrived having installed this beta over the top of 11.1.2241.
When thefinalversion of avast! came out of beta section or i can use this beta version instead of public version(11.1.2241)? I am so confused :-\Pls tell me.
Only major releases, like Avast 2016, are planned to a date by Avast, for marketing reasons.
Updates are not planned to a date, except for example this year’s Avast update prior to - and compatible with Windows 10.
And also for us, the Evangelists, releases/updates are always a surprise, as Avast doesn’t tell us either.
That said : Sometimes an Avast Developer gives us a hint, but that is really an exception.
So there is no point in asking these questions over and over again, as they can/will not been answerd
I have an issue with Avast Free - when Web Shield active - DNS not working.
I created case, technical support engineer suggested to try this beta version, but nothing changed.
Please create checkbox “Don’t touch DNS”. Please let me choose to leave my DNS alone. Just let it work.
Are you using Avast free? Web Shield does not change anything related to network settings and, for sure, does not change DNS.
SecureDNS is a feature of Avast (paid versions) that could be disabled, but, of course, it works too and should bring any trouble to DNS.
Hello,
I’m using Avast Free. Of course It doesn’t change network setting, it just blocks function of DNS client when Web Shield is ON.
My notebook can’t resolve any FQDN to IP address while Web Shield is on.
So I think it will be so great if there is an option to not completely turn Web Shield OFF but to disable DNS related functionality - something like “Don’t try to protect my DNS”.
