New version, 23.11.6090, reporting password block on msedge.exe

Hi.

Installed latest version yesterday. Running Avast Premium Security, paid version. 23.11.6090 (build 23.11.8635.809)

System is a MicroCenter B734 mini-tower with 32 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 12-core. Running Win 11 Pro.

When I opened MS Edge to check for latest build version, a block popped up, warning me that MS Edge was attempting to access my password cache.

Is there a way to revert access msedge.exe to this folder in case it is required in the future?

I don’t use browser password cache to store my passwords, so the block is really moot but thought I’d bring this up as a possible bug in the password feature. I did turn on the password feature for the first time upon installing the latest version.

See attached below:

Second item: Total number of virus definitions was 0! after performing a overlay of the old version by way downloading a full executable and running that over the existing 23.10 version.

See attached below for that as well:

Running a repair of APS did fix that issue. It now reports a full virus count of 18,423,604 after a required restart.
