Thank you.

Some posts already relating to Spam Guardian, I was thinking because of the ‘Guardian’ part of the name that this was an Avast One shield/function.

Thanks for the new release

Hello, good afternoon everyone!
I have a collection of malware on a virtual machine. What I want to do is send it to Avast to analyze all of them and give a verdict regarding the malware. How do I send it?
I know this link to send it Report False Negative

The problem with this link is that it asks you to send a single file at a time. However, I have several files here. It is impossible for me to send them one by one because it would take too long.

Does anyone know of another way to send them? In version 25.6.10221a (build 25.6.10221.939), I looked inside the Avast antivirus and I can’t find this option to send samples.

Thank you all.

Has this fixed the issue with slowness in Google related websites (Gmail, Youtube) that has been an issue since at least version 25.3?

I installed 25.6 yesterday. Today the main Avast window just randomly popped up front and center. For no reason whatsoever. It had a blue circle with a 1 in it on the task bar icon.

Why?

Hello, how are you?
Could you post the screenshot here so everyone can see it and more easily identify the problem?

Thank you! :victory_hand:

I’ve seen this sort of thing for a few versions now, AFAICT it’s a glitch where Avast requires multiple reboots before settling down to business as usual. I make it a habit now to (1) restart when prompted by Avast (2) log in and leave the system alone for about ten minutes to see if there are any popups requiring a response (2) restart again, after which things seem normal ~ HTH

Hello @JLJ-o-matic
I liked the way you managed to get around this problem. LOL

The worst part is that this bug still persists. The only option is to wait for version 25.7 to see if the next one comes without this problem.

One thing I have to note is that I wouldn’t have the patience to keep restarting my PC and waiting 10 minutes like you do… LOL

Hugs!

It’s the normal main GUI. No screenshot.

It also insists on putting a new icon on the desktop with every update. So annoying.
