ALERT
This version has a new checkbox under “Personal Privacy” that is enabled by default.
It allows all kinds of data to be sent to Avast.
The update screen only mentions ‘regular fixes’ but also new terms of service. That’s what made me suspicious. So I checked and indeed Avast is being scummy once again!
