Monitoring.

It would have been nice to give more details on the “increase product stability” as there are several issues being reported with Avast 25.6 and why I didn’t update to 25.6.

Thanks for the new release

I dont see any “product performance” advantage over latest version, but Chrome is still unusable for me, especially with uBlock Origin Lite.

@lukas.hasik, Hello, it would be great if we had details on what was fixed and improved regarding the components, as several issues have been reported during this period.

I still don’t know if my issue has been fixed until I upgrade to version 25.7.

With all that said, thanks for the release.

its buggered up the UI scale layout on win 11 laptop.
Ive seen quite a few posts lately about this for past couple of months but it had not affected me before.
as i dont use 11 much i had so many patches and updates and once avast had finished and rebooted this is what im left with.
scared to update my daily used win 10 now.
changing scaling from 125% (recommended) to 100% in preferences does nothing.

I got a similar report on Japanese section too. I thought it might be related to screen/text scaling, but it seems it’s not?

Thanks @NON
does it mention which OS win 10 or 11
still not updated my 10 yet.

Well that is going to stop me updating to 25.7 until we get an answer from Avast.
Was this not seen in Alpha and Beta testing, or is that what is now being done by users :frowning:

The user says Win10.

And I’m not sure this is starting from 25.7 as he also mentioned this happened several times since before, and it worsened since “previous version” (could be 25.5 or 25.6).

Source (Japanese):

Thanks mate. I did see quite a few posts a month back about same but it hadnt affected me until now.
I can take one for the team if you want and update my win 10 to see if the same happens.
Avast devs, any feedback.

ok, updated 10 and still same size so this issue has only affected my UI on win 11 laptop

I have always said that we need more details in the fixes/updates, etc.

I’m still sitting here on 25.5, no information/details of of fixes/updates/improvements on 25.6 and people were having problems. So I just sat tight, the way things are going 25.6, it may be the same with 25.7 at this rate.

I also don’t like what has been reported in the forums of changes to the users settings either.

So currently not very impressed, what the hell happens in Alpha testing and Beta testing that this stuff (technical term) gets through.

Former Programmer/Analyst in my last 4 years in the Army and they were very tight on testing.

What is appearing is that in the alpha and beta tests, the tests are being done by Artificial Intelligence. LOL

Is the Chrome slowdown/lag issue with Google related websites fixed yet, Avast? Lukas?

Just FYI, the user uses only one fullHD (1920x1080) monitor with its resolution set to 1366x768.
(Don’t ask me why, I’m just a messenger  )

OK thanks NON. I may just risk version 25.7 update on my Win10 then.
I do have 25.6 saved as offline installer, in case 25.7 proves to be bad and has to be removed.

EDIT: Just to say 25.7 was OK. I did check Privacy and Notifications settings were unchanged though

Hi all, thank you for reporting the UI scaling issue. It should have been fixed since Thursday (via hotfix). If you still see the issue today, please restart your computer and check if the problem is resolved. Sorry about the trouble!
