Monitoring.

I note we are back no detailed change log. It would be nice to know what bugs have been squashed, certainly for those experiencing problems.

Note I see that the beta version for 26.2 has been notified and has a comprehensive Release Notes included.

Thanks for the new release

Was this fixed yet?

No, as I said, they released fix some months ago, which improves this a bit. But it is still slow with uBlock Origin Lite. Last good version was 25.4.

Just updated from 25.12 Free to 26.1 Free using Settings>Upgrade.
25.12 Menu had correctly shown subscription as Avast Free
26.1 Menu now incorrectly shows subscription as Avast Premium.
But elsewhere it correctly states it is a Free Plan.
Does anyone else on Avast AV Free 26.1 see this Menu discrepancy?

Yes. I see this discrepancy on 26.1 (which somehow got automatically updated to when I updated Win11 via .iso).

Actually, having Avast installed during .iso-based OS update install caused blue screen so I had to uninstall/reinstall Avast to do it. It appears the Avast reinstall of my then-current backversion reset all my settings so there was a window with the automatic update setting default, allowing 26.1 to get in before I could restore my saved settings and recustomize my Avast configuration.)

I have the same thing. Avast Free 26.1 and it shows as Avast Premium.

Under that 7 more items, all followed by ‘subscribe’

26.2 seems released.

Confirmed, I just did a manual update check and it is downloading and am about to restart.
