Fixed an issue where some websites could fail to load or appear to hang when Web Shield was inspecting connections that use the QUIC protocol, caused by certain network packets that could not be processed correctly.
Thanks for the release notes. I will now watch this thread to see if any issues come up for others that I think may affect me. I will also be skipping the 26.6.11052 revision for 26.6 because it was not formally announced in the forum.
Gee i just realized my long standing issue with youtube video and special 4k buffering issue in firefox was do to QUIC/HTTP/3 scanning in web shield avast ( soon disable the shield youtube was fine) I googled avast throttling youtube and was refereed to above setting.
my connection speed accord to stats for nerds in youtube info jumps from barely 25000kbps to 600000kbps with that setting unchecked, alternative option is Firefox after do either or youtube simply worked correctly, before that anything about 1080p would buffer like no tomorrow.
for freak years I trying fiqure why firefox and youtube dont like each other and it enable Quic/HTTP3 Scanning…
Please fix what going on youtube videos with that setting on. Side note with either that setting on in Avast or network.http.http3.enable=true will trigger Avast to use 10-20% cpu usage it processes if I disable 1 or the other avast process barely use 1% when youtube streaming.
I would also love it they fixed what cause avast to “break” turn off monitor after “x” time upon boot as that function dont work less I move my mouse and click buttons first. but if I start window 11 in “safe” mode which disable avast it has no issue if I uninstall avast no issue either.
