Hi all,
today we released a new version of Avast - more details: https://forum.avast.com/?topic=196445.0
This release includes a new version of SafeZone browser (3.55.2393.527). It is one of the biggest browser updates in the history. We’ve made a lot of exciting changes that will make your browsing even better.
Major changes:
Save your settings across SafeZone
Now, whether you’re in Default or Bank Mode, you’ll use the same settings, bookmarks and history. You’ll even be able to switch between modes without losing your session, so it’s never been easier to shop or bank safely. Simply, you can switch to bank mode anytime you want and continue in it. Your shopping basket will not be lost!
Please note that if you had some custom bookmarks in the Bank mode, they will be migrated to the “Bank mode” folder on your bookmarks bar after update.
Restore recently closed tabs
Everyone has accidentally exited out of a tab they still needed, but getting those pages back doesn’t have to be a headache. Now, you can reopen recently closed tabs with the click of a button.
Bookmark your bookmarks
Now, you can save all of your SafeZone bookmarks in a separate file on your PC, allowing you to import them to other browsers, or keep them at your fingertips if you uninstall Avast and/or SafeZone.
It’s time to protect your passwords
We’ve removed your passwords from SafeZone’s auto-fill function. If you’d like a safer alternative, please consider activating Avast Passwords, which will store, manage, and auto-fill your login information, all for free. If you do so, your previous SafeZone passwords will be migrated to Avast Passwords.
