New version

This morning I get a small green screen coming up above the notification area (same as the one indicating that my database is being updated). This green screen tells me that a new version of AVAST is available. I am to click this screen to install. Is this the AVAST free version beta?

I imagine this is the standard program update to version 4.8.1351
It is ok to do the update :slight_smile:

They wouldn’t this with a beta, that is separate.

dld, do yourself and your system a favor and add another 256MB RAM and even 512MB RAM as that would really improve system performance.

I hope you are using XP SP3 as well.
