How can I permanently remove the invitation to “Activate Newsfeed”? I have the same question. I pay Avast to avoid pop-ups like this. At least give the option to say “never” instead of “later”.
I am not familiar with “Activate Newsfeed” pop-up, but you may be able to minimise pop-ups using privacy settings shown in this post: Avast is extremely greedy and aggressive - #2 by DavidR

It is unclear which Avast product you are referring to. I am now guessing it may be Avast Secure Browser not Avast Antivirus as I had previously assumed. If true, your question may be better asked here: Avast Secure Browser - Avast Community
Yes, immediately after replying to Benutzer404 here, I posted on Avast Secure Browser for Windows page to explain situation and post in wrong forum. Sorry, I did not clarify that here, but at least problem went away. Thanks again rocksteady for taking note.
