Hi Guys,
In the last several days, I have noticed a significant slowdown, especially with internet browsing. AVAST nor MBAM have raised any flags. On the off chance that there is something, but it has slipped though, I have attached the requisite logs. For MBAM I did set a custom scan to scan all attached hard drives, in case something on one of the other drives was the source.
When I look at the running processes, there is one for games called Wild Tangent Games App Integration Service that is accounting for up to 30% of the CPU activity. I presume this is for on line games? If I disable this from the task manager, it will just come back at reboot, correct? I do not think it is new, but would it account for (some of) the sluggishness and aside from not being to access certain games, is there any downside?
AMD_RAIDXpert service was stopped and then set to ‘disabled’. System then re-booted.
Everything looks ok, and I am not noticing the lag I previously observed when opening a browser window or in the mouse tracking.
Is the AMD_RAIDXpert related to the WinMsgBalloonServer – or do I need to do anything about that one?
And just leave the AMD service disabled (permanently)?
