I work with Avast 5, last version with 94 in the end, windows 7, 64 bit and XP pro servicepack 3. I use a screenreader, Window-Eyes 7.2.
I tried to move back a file from Viroscontainer to its original destination, but I have no contextmenü to open. Some helpful people of the german Avast forum helped me and one of them was so kind to install Window-Eyes on his computer, and he told us, that the contextmenu is gone, in the moment, the Screenreader is installed. And its even not to see, when the screenreader is disabled. It appers when the screenreader is uninstalled
I am afraid, there is something in the Avast program, that cannot communicate with my screenreader. Is there any chance to fix this? Without have the possibility to move a file back from Container it is very hard for I lost some files still in this way.
I know many thihgs were happend to make Avast 5 useful for screenreaders and I am very thanful for that, but this one Option woud be very important too.
First I want thank you to try to fix the problem with Contextmenü in iruscontainer for screenreaders.
But I am very very sorry that I must tell you, that the problem is not fixed still.
I use Build 5.0.661, and I noticed, that the Avast Contextmenu in Avast in Systray gets no Focus now, and the contextmenu in Virus Container opens, but I cannot read anything, when I move the Cursor the fields stay empty. In Win XP I can find the entries with the Mousesimulation of Window-Eyes, but in Win 7 64 Bit I get no chance to read any of the entries of Contextmenu in Virus container And the Contextmenu opens only, when i moove the Mousesimulation of Window-Eyes to the list. I and I think all Window-Eyes users woud be very very thankful, if it would be possible to have a simple normal Contextmenu, wwhen I get the focus on a Listentry of Viruscontainer to take the Contextkey or Shift f10, that the Contextmenu would open and have focus and all entries could be read and the actions could be started with the Enterkey and not with Mouseclick only.
