I am a new Avast user, running Avast 7 in Windows 7 (64bit) on a Mac via Parallels 5. Whenever I boot up, my internet access in Win 7 is unavailable (fine in Mac OS or my Linux virtual machines under parallels). If I turn off the Avast shields and reboot, then turn the shields back on, everything works fine. I just don’t think that that is a satisfactory workaround. Any advice??

Well, except that I am not using Avast for Mac, I am using Avast for Windows 7, it happens to be running on a Windows 7 Virtual Machine on a Mac. I am also checking the Mac forums though…
