There are not detected viruses by Avast. Simply my point is those who make iAVS database updates, analyze the viruses and add them to the database.

Send the sample to avast as a Undetected Malware:
Open the chest and right click in the Chest and select Add, navigate to where you have the sample and add it to the chest (see image). Once in the chest, right click on the file and select ‘Submit to virus lab…’ complete the form and submit, the file will be uploaded during the next update.
OR
Send the sample to virus (at) avast (dot) com zipped and password protected with the password in email body and undetected malware in the subject.
I think you need th FTP upload for this one as the file is 45mb…
You can use the ftp server to upload big files. Upload them to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming - Using Internet Explorer, Connect to the link and drag the file into the Right pane and drop it, that starts the upload, you don’t have read access to this folder.
How to upload it using the Run command-line in Windows: Windows Key + R (to get the run box), copy and paste this
explorer ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming
and drag the file into the window, from another explorer window.
Give the file a meaningful name UndetectedMalwareSamples, etc.
why do i get no connection ?
I don’t know, why do you get no connection, what are you doing ?
Hi Pondus,
I just see a hidden link there: htxp://rs29l3.rapidshare.com/progress.html?uploadid=108905576169552291
Just evaluating that one:ActiveX controls * Msxml2.XMLHTTP No attribute setting or method call detected
independent ProgID This link seems benign
Malware found on site: found: Backdoor.Win32.Agent.artp
What “w4r3zh4ck” gave above redirects to: htxp://extpay.rapidshare.com/cgi-bin/psc.cgi?pid=+pid+&custom=3e5d474d6fa98cb1274a828ab4a67640cca93030b9dff1ae8569564ad3bb1ea0571be1df851f29035e7a4ec420c14f62;

See what was flagged in attached cropped gif…
polonus
Do you mean from the windows run, explorer command ?
If so the forum software munged up the ftp link by adding http to it, I have corrected it by placing the run command in a code tag, see modified post above.
Sent to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming Without the http.
I dont really know what polonus is talking about but anyway… thanks to those who uploaded or submitted to avast servers
Don’t worry, you aren’t alone. The link you gave didn’t redirect anywhere for me.
Since I’m on dial-up I couldn’t contemplate downloading such a large file to then upload it to avast.
Your Welcome.
edit: sorry wrong post
