Hi,
For a little over a week I’ve seen 3 popups indicating that a new device has joined my network.
If I open the details, it says “unknown” on every line.
Each time I launch the network inspector but no unknown device appears.
No suspicions either when I consult my box’s interface, which shows devices connected at time “t” and those connected in the last 30 days.
I can’t say for sure, but it seems that these popups appeared after the 24.9 update.
Could this be a bug?
Again today
but still nothing unusual after network inspection
Got the same one after updating to latest beta. “Details” from AvastUI’s notification menu shows some more info.
Thanks
what kind of information?
As far as I’m concerned, clicking on “detail” just gives me my capture info, then redirects me to the network inspector … which gives me nothing more than my known devices.
I’ve noticed that when I run a network inspection and a device on my network isn’t connected, it isn’t displayed in the result, whereas before it was grayed out with a detail like “last connection: yesterday at hh:mm”.
Could the fact that this display no longer appears be the reason why a new device is detected when it connects to the network or is connected when I start up my own device?
nb:All are equipped with avast premium with the latest version 24.9
I didn’t take a screenshot so I can’t provide exact details, IIRC there are 6 or 7 lines instead of 3 of your one. One of them was IP address.
