Notification List Deletion?

I have not been to the forum for a while (10 yrs?), recently I have been looking at a few things trying to decide whether I had fallen too far behind to be of much use. I feel perhaps, yes, its over for me. Something I have noticed is that malware fighters (for want of a better word) are also required to answer queries which really are beyond their capabilities, if only because they do not have access to the necessary information. Moreover, some queries would require probability tests are run before anyone could answer confidently. Nonetheless, I do feel that these additional duties, related to servicing the process rather than locate, identify and remove/prevent malware, are within the scope of this forum given the high intelligence quotient that provides within this community. DavidR for example. Still we should not forget our purpose as open source adherents to find our answers through our own unique contributions to any overall problem. I believe DavidR has done that. Good luck to you Spirtual2016 in your endeavour. Will not surprise me if you solve the problem for all. Pardon me if Im interloping on anyone sharing in this thread.

Welcome back.

For the most part we are Avast users and not malware fighters.

There used to be a small group of Qualified Malware Removal specialists Essexboy, also a qualified trainer. But the lack of actual/true virus/malware infections got less and less.
For these Qualified Malware Removal specialists to remain current they have to remain active in the latest malware trends and there removal.
So most moved on to other locations, the Malwarebytes Forum being one such site.

Thank you David. Things have been much the same for me - no real infections, sloppy computers end up getting infested by small fry, thats about all. Excellent response. You are a champion David. Good luck with your work. Cheers.
