NT Authority

Can anyone help me, NT authority appears on my PC and after that it will Shutdown! how can i remove that? THANKS

Question: NT Authority shutting down

Problem: On Windows XP a message pops up saying that the NT Authority will shut down the computer in 60 seconds and to save your work. You save, it shuts down and restarts. In one case when it restarted it would not connect to their ISP.

try to type: cmd and type: shutdown -a to avoid the shutdown of your pc.

Resolution: The “NT Authority” message is from windows and it is shutting down because it is an unpatched OS and something is trying to exploit the RPC vulnerability in Windows. You probably are infected by the blaster virus. There is a fix tool from Symantec for blaster. You need to 1)run the fix tool, See the knowledge base entry on the w32.blaster worm for more specific instruction:
