odd disconnections

ever since my mcafee firewall expired and i was on the internet for approximately two minutes with my firewall off…
ever since then every time i try to download something
(im on dialup) it would disconnect my download
does anyone have any clues?

Hi Yinyang4evry1 ,

To turn off McAffe Firewall you need to do 2 things:

Click Stop McAfee Firewall to disable the software.

From the Welcome to McAfee Firewall screen, go to the Network Control Settings and select Allow All Traffic

Did you do both steps?

i did a google search and came up that i had to use keyword: xpsp2fix in walmart connect for the update that fixed it
the reason why is that after a while sp2 xp will conflict with walmart connect
