Received an email offering me a Cyber Monday discount on various Avast products, one of which being Secureline VPN.

Just wanted to check this is a genuine email from Avast. The address it came from is customers@email2.avast.com

I know this may seem like a stupid question as the domain it came from is avast.com, but i am always dubious about clicking links received via email as i receive a large amount of junk / phishing mail.

To see if the mail is from the person/company that is mentioned in the “from field”, look at the headers of the mail.
