The first time I used Avast Antivirus Free Edition was at version 7. Since then i used add/remove to uninstall avast and use it’s uninstall utility. Why CCleaner detecting Avast 6, when I have Avast 2014. The very 1st version I installed Avast 2014, I uninstalled avast 8 via add/remove and used it’s uninstall Utility and then installed Avast 2014?
Upon clicking detailed results I come up with logs files. Refer to attachments! Is it safe to delete them?
This has been happening since avast! 8. Avast! 6 is seen in CCleaner utilities. Most certanily a CCleaner glitch. This also happens with Office and FoxIt. At least that is my case.
Oh right!!! Thanks for the heads up! I ran that tool both in normal mode and in safe mode with networking. After that tool ran it didn’t ask me to restart just like avast uninstall utility would so i manually restarted!!!
