On Access scanner will not istall

hello,
I dowloaded Avast4Home.
all went well only the on acces scanner did not com to its place
I used your extern control tool then it take’s it place but after reboot it’s gone again.

A further problem is that as I installed Avast,the file system 32 appears every time I start the PC.

An Other problem is that even if I deinstall Avast the securitycenter of XP sees Avast as Antvirusscanner.

I have install and uninstall Avast4Home several times.

I hope you know what went wrong

Do you (or did you) have another av on that system?
If so, which one?

No there is no other antivirusscanner I have had Norton but after uninstall and using there removing tool I had A Format C so I think it was clean before I installes Avast.

Try this:

  • uninstall Avast using the util from the website
  • reboot
  • reinstall Avast
  • reboot

And what exactly do you mean by this?

I do’nt get an error.
As Avast is installed and I start the computer the map Windows System 32 appears on my desktop.

  • Close that screen with the map.
  • shutdown the system
  • boot the system
    Does this solves it?

No that solves nothing.

I will tell you how it goes already a few days.

I start the computer the Map Windows system 32 appears,I click it out than I go to the tool Avast extern control(I saved that on my desktop) than I work with a good save system I hope.

If I have uninstalled Avast the map does not appear.
