It is so confusing that my Avast product subscriptions do not seem to “know” about each other. I’ve got one product app open and I’m getting pop ups saying I need to purchase this product or that product, when I already have those other products. Isn’t there just a single Avast product that does it all?

I feel the same way and have bought the same product twice without realizing it.
I use Avast Ultimate which includes everything I need. It runs about 50USD at NewEgg for two year subscription. They’re running a special right now, only 35USD. Buy now, and insert the authorization code when your current subscription expires. NEWEGG

I totally agree. Personally. I will be deleting Avast when it runs out, as it is too annoying with notifications every few minutes it seems. They interrupt my internet use and are driving me crazy! Good bye Avast, I am moving to Guardio which does not do that. I cancelled my Premium package online so why would they keep bugging me? It is total harassment. Wish I could sue them. 
You can turn off the ads in Avast Premium. Settings > General > Personal Privacy
