No point, this is potentially exploitable driver blocking. I had similar issue with FanControl app from Rem0o. In the end, I resorted back to limited motherboard BIOS fan control. It’s not as flexible, but I managed to tune it in similar fashion that it’s quiet and cool without having such driver running on my system.
You can however disable this vulnerable driver blocking in Compatibility settings in Avast.
