Option for deleting a Post!!

Well after accidentally posting a topic twice I looked for the option of deleting the post ???. But sadly there was no option I could find to delete that post. :o  I think there should be an option to delete a post. (Or is there any super hidden option to delete a post ;D)
Does anyone feels the same??

Not something you can do but if you post the links to the double posts, one will be removed.

If you wanted your post to get deleted, you can always edit it and say “<Please delete this (reason)>” so that the users with sufficient privileges delete it for you.

Deletion, even for your own post or topic requires a level of permission not given in the forums.

If you make a post that you want to delete, just use the Modify button and edit/delete the text. Enter Intentional Deletion or Please Delete and a passing moderator, etc. can remove it.

As to the posts you were mentioning being doubled up ( not any more )

OK  So a high ranked forum member can have such privileges. Does at any certain rank we get this privileges?? Or only forum moderators can do it?

Moderators (who are avast team) and avast! Überevangelists can delete posts, the latter is generally in relation to the removal of spam.

Thank you all for your replies

You’re welcome.
