Other:Malware-gen[Trj] whenever I open Chrome browser

I have just rebuilt my laptop and installed Chrome. As soon as I sync my google account to share settings across devices I get the attached malware pop up.

I have tried stopping extensions and uninstalled \ re installed Chrome. Its fine until I start google sync. I don’t see this on my PC that has exactly the same Chrome setup.

I have run a full Avast scan but it reports back a clean system

My computer is also formatted today. I’m having the same problem. I have been using it Chrome with Google account for many years. I have never had any problems. But I’m having this problem right now. The error code and Url are even the same. We get the same mistake with you. I tried everything, but it didn’t improve. The first time I turn on the Chrome, it gives a warning. Then no more problems. But this is very confusing. And very annoying. Interesting to have the same problem with multiple users on the same days. I tried another antivirus program and there was no problem. Only when Avast is in use that had a problem.

It has stopped happening now and I don’t know why! I did notice that when I turned off google sync the messages stopped. However I know have sync enabled but the message has stopped.
