Some of our customers are reporting that Avast anti-virus has flagged our Credit Union’s website, heritagecu.ca, as “URL:Phishing”
Is there a list this is pulling from that I need to report to? We’re a small credit union, so it’s only affecting a handful of customers, but we sure don’t want to end up on anyone’s spam/phishing list.
Update: I just found the https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php and filled it out. I can’t seem to find our URL/IP on any blacklists though. I’m not sure if that makes me less worried or more; I prefer a problem that’s easy to identify.
Had you mentioned your domain name in your first post them some of the volunteers may have been able to give some help/advice. At the very least we may have been able to see what the detection was.
But ultimately Avast virus labs have the ability to investigate.remove the detection.
