Outloock 2007

De ontem pra hoje meu Outloock 2007 só recebe e envia emails quando desativo meu AVAST PREMIER. Isto começou depois da ultima atualização do AVAST. Alguém pode me orientar como configurar o AVAST com o OUTLOOCK 2007?

Ok Schimidthouse, i’m sorry.
From yesterday to today my Outloock 2007 only receive and send emails when I turn off my AVAST PREMIER. This started after the last update of AVAST. Can anyone guide me how to configure AVAST with OUTLOOCK 2007?

Hi flavio 16, No worries

I personally cannot suggest what you need as I don’t use/and haven’t used Outlook for years. I use Thunderbird however many here do use Outlook and will probably chime in to help.

Thank You Schmidthouse. Do you know if this Thunderbird exists in Brazil? Is that always Outloock of one or another problem.

Sorry, I am a Thunderbird user too.

Tks

I don’t use Outlook either, but MS Outlook has an avast plug-in that allows avast to scan MS Outlook emails from within the Outlook program, not from outside like the avast Mail Shield.

Check the Plug-in area of MS Outlook and see if the avast plug-in is disabled. If so enable it and see if that resolves it.

Has anything change recently that may have had an impact on your already working email scanning - such as an avast program update ?

Hi David, OP stated
Snip> “This started after the last update of AVAST”. Not sure if that’s program though??

Thanks, either could possibly result in the avast Outlook plug-in being disabled or even firewall blocking.

Though the later is less likely as that would most likely effect the web shield and browsing, but not mentioned.

My two cents is you can go thru trying to check the certificates/etc https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=163294.0 or as I’ve seen on many posts the “plugin” gets borked. Any chance your upgrade was thru the GUI/UI ?..in other words now a clean un-reinstall ? A clean un-reinstall does not take very long and no one will argue it is better than an over the top update. To that regard, many times on many threads the re-install resets the plugin correctly.

You can click on the link in my signature for long explanation on un-reinstall but that is for the novice…just make sure to use the Avast Clear util after regular uninstall in Windows.

Hope that helps.
