Outlook/Exchange Provider

I found a strange problem on my XP-Pro-box with OL2002:

I have more then one user account on this machine.
Since a few days on one account the provider for OL/Exchange does not start anymore when I start outlook. Also the green splash-Screen does not apear. Viruses are not detected while receiving.
On the second account everything works fine.
I checked the Add-Ins in OL. Avast is enabled in both accounts. I’ve deinstalled/reinstalled the OL-Provider, no success. The working Account has admin priviledges the other not.
Any ideas?

Check Outlook → About Box → Disabled Items.
If avast is on the list, remove it…
