What protections does the p2p shield provide that normal file access (i.e. open, read, write, exe) to p2p downloaded files do not especially since avast provides on-demand protection?
The strength of the scanning could be set differently and thoroughly.
You can “relax” the on access (file) scanning settings and “hardener” them for the p2p files.
