OK where has it gone… Who moved it ?
Anyone know where the place to set a password is as I cannot find it
It is the avastUI > Settings > General > Password.

I need some assistance with my avast account please. I protected my avast account with a password and now I cannot get back into it. I have entered in my password and it doesn’t work. I have also tried every other password I have used and I still cannot get into my account. What can I do?!?!?!? ~~~ Jackie

Type in your mail and then you will get a mail where you can set up a new password.
I did all that and it still didnt work.
I have also tried uninstalling it, it won’t let me. It keeps asking me for the password.
So you dont have the password for Avast, not for your Avast account whem i am right?
Then run this unnstaller from safe mode: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avastclear.exe
This will uninstall Avast, then reinstall Avast and reset your settings.
