Some time ago, I set a password for my Avast Premium Security application. Everything was fine until my computer crashed and was left unused for a while. After the repair, I discovered I forgot my Avast password and no longer had access to any settings changes. I can’t even uninstall it because I don’t remember the password. Please help.
Your only option is a clean reinstall, an uninstall outside of windows followed by installation of the current version.

My only question is given that your user name is MacBen, you aren’t using an Apple Mac ?
