After the update last month when in Bank Mode all saved passwords constanly delete have to import daily. Not happy about that. I use this browser for that reason. Someone needs to correct this. And no there is no check mark in delete passwords and data , It does it on its own daily
Did you get any resolution Tony. I’ve just lost all my passwords. I don’t have them anywhere else to be able to import them again. I had around 40 passwords. Now when I try to log in somewhere I have problems because I can’t remember the password or even the email addressed I used to sign up. I’m pretty much stuffed and like you one of the reasons I chose Avast Secure Brower was for the Password Manager, so that I’ve never lose my passwords, and now they’re all gone. Do they exist somewhere else on Avast or is that it, gone forever? I can’t find any way to contact Avast to discuss this with them directly either … Steve.

I actually export them but every time i need one i have to re upload them Avast has never responded

I’m sorry for the trouble you’re facing and for coming back to you late.
It looks like two different issues.
@Tony96, is this happening only in Bank Mode? In normal mode, are the passwords working correctly?
@sunami, did it happen suddenly, or have you previously updated something (for example, your operating system or browser)? Have you enabled Sync in the browser?
Please, also post here the Diagnostic information from your browsers:
- Open Avast Secure Browser
- Paste secure://settings/diagnosticInfo into address bar and press enter
- Click Copy to clipboard at the bottom-right corner
- Paste the diag info here
All information will help us to check these issues further.

Hi MJay, thanks for your reply. I didn’t update anything and sync is enabled. Since I first posted about this I put some passwords back. It took me ages because I didn’t have my passwords saved anywhere else so I had to change passwords on numerous accounts. Now THOSE have disappeared as well. I know it’s not your fault but I can’t tell you how annoying this is. Jason.

I am having the same issue. Avast recently updated and now my Password Manager is empty. I did not update my operating system or anything. My computer restarted and Password Manager was empty when I opened Avast Browser. Please see below Diagnostics and thank you so much for your help.
