PC not starting after AVAST installation

Downloaded Avast 5.0 for the fist time in my laptop and it rebooted 3 times in a row and now is not starting at all, I only get a black screen.
Already tried F12, F2 & F8 with no success

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE…I NEED HELP!!!

Did you have a previous antivirus (AV) on your machine prior to Avast, and if so did you remove it?

What other security software do you have on your machine?

Try hitting F8 repeatedly to go into Safe Mode and see if it will boot up.
