Recently I purchased a brand new system when my old machine (which was bought 7 years ago) finally gave out, but I’ve been experiencing a truly weird problem with it ever since I installed SecureLine…
Every time Windows boots up, supposedly the Network Adapter runs first to get a connection and, then, once this has been established, SecureLine can attempt to encrypt it for you. Unfortunately, it appears on Windows 8 this doesn’t happen - instead SecureLine runs before the adapter, breaking your connection permanently, until you stop it from encrypting and reboot so the adapter can run first!
This bug is easy to reproduce and, unlike Windows 7, seems unable to overcome it by stating “the adapter doesn’t have a valid IP configuration”. In respect to Windows 8/8.1 users, it would be helpful if the module allowed for a delay to be set, or actually confirmed whether adapter had connected to a server/router before trying to run the app.
