PhoneBrowser.dll for Nokia PC Suite - False Positive or not?

I switched on my laptop today, and avast detected a Trojan in PhoneBrowser.dll, which is used to control Nokia PC Suite.

So why did it detect it as such NOW when I’ve had it for about… 2 years++?

You should check out this file:
Upload the offending/suspect file to: VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner and report the findings here the URL in the Address bar of the VT results page. You can’t do this with the file securely in the chest, you need to extract it to a temporary (not original) location first, see below.

Create a folder called Suspect in the C: drive. Now exclude that folder in the File System Shield, Expert Settings, Exclusions, Add, type (or copy and paste) C:\Suspect*
That will stop the File System Shield scanning any file you put in that folder.

Too bad I already uninstalled it since I don’t use the thing anymore.

But if someone has Nokia PC Suite and has a PhoneBrowser.dll in it, can someone help me check? Thank you.

Though I think it might be because I’m using an older version of Nokia PC Suite that I might be getting this message, but eh I don’t use it anymore.

OK, something to think on if this should happen in the future, bookmark virustotal as it is a handy site.
