Has anyone else had problems with Photoshop Elements?
I had no problems with AVG
I haven’t seen any reported issues in the forums.
avast scan and alerts to infection nothing more nothing less, so it shouldn’t interfere with photoshop.
How did you get rid of AVG as remnants of a previous AV could have an impact ?
- AVG8.x Remover, download tool from here, http://www.avg.com/download-tools there is a 32bit and 64 bit windows version, ensure you use the correct one.

I used the AVG remover tool as you suggested and SO FAR SO GOOD!!
I photoshopped for a couple of hours last evening with no problems.
I have my fingers crossed that all will be well from now on!
