Pin Recovery Not Set

Hello My name is mandud
i just facing a trouble after i set anti theft
i remember my pin but after i open avast mobile security it show “Enter Avast! Pin” dialog
but its always show error icon
the trouble just like this thread http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=112305.0

how to fix this, i’ve reinstall it many times but its still get same problem

Hello,

to reset your pin, you need to uninstall Anti-Theft AND Mobile Security.

also make sure your pin is 4-6 digits, only numbers.

I get the same error msg but never asked to set a pin. The system is asking for a pin it never let me set. Android uninstall doues not reset.

Hi,

if you reinstalled Mobile Security and it didn’t help, the chances are you have Anti-Theft installed. And during its activation, you set up your PIN.
