ping 127.0.0.1 questions/clarifications?

hi, i just want to clarify something about this.

i’m able to access the internet and do normal things, like surf, download and update softwares. but when i tried pinging 127.0.0.1 or any ip/domain ( or whatever it’s called) i get a “general faliure”. and receive 0 packets/ 100% loss.

is something wrong with this? or i can i just leave this alone?

I dont know if this will cause any problems in the future.

Which is your firewall? Is it pinging blocked?
Can’t you ping www.microsoft.com ???

hi tech, i have pc tools firewall. since i’ve installed it, i never changed anything in the settings.
and yes i can’t ping anything.
