Right now we, in Thailand, are having problem with virus (ms32dll.dll.vbs). It spreads via handy drive.
It is very unlucky for me as the avast 4 I used (with the lasted vps) cannot detect this virus.
Other antivirus such as sophos, AVG, bit defender can detect this virus (as solow, for example).
My question is this kind of virus has been known for so long, why avast team never update their vps so avast antivirus can detect this virus and protect us from the treat.
If you have any suspicious files that are not detected by the latest version of our antivirus programs, you can send them to virus@avast.com. The ideal way to send such files is to compress them as a ZIP with the password ‘virus’ (so that the attachment is not deleted by some other antivirus software on the way)

Thank you for quick response. Unfortunately, I already delete the file and not unlucky enough to get infected again so I don’t have the file at the moment.
Anyway, I will announce in webboard so that people who still have the file can send the file to you.
However, Sophos has identified the virus as solow and variants. It would be great if you could put this into your virus database.
