I am trying to get rid of Avast Secureline VPN on a family members computer. Unfortunately, they uninstalled the VPN while it was still running. Now we are locked in through some eastern Europeans countries.
Restarting the computer does nothing.
I am unable to reinstall the Avast Secureline application. The installer closes itself as soon as the installation begins. I stopped the service and task, both restart themselves. I stopped it from automatically starting up, it starts anyway. I tried disabling and removing the network adapters. They re-enabled and reinstalled themselves.
I tried using the Avast Clear program, apparently that doesn’t remove Avast Secureline.
I found the files in program files.
I am stuck. Please help.
