My name is Andrea and I installed the home version. I was doing a check of my files last night and it said I am infected. What do I do now?
When avast! detected a virus in your PC they’ll give you three options:
Repair, Delete, or Move to virus chest.
First you try to repair the infected file but viruses such as trojans cannot be repaired so second option: you may send the infected file to the virus chest. I recommend sending it to the virus chest second cause first the virus won’t do anymore damage and second you may investigate this infected file. You may delete the infected file after a week if your PC is running normally. 
Note: If avast! detected a virus on the internet and the only option they give you is “Abort Connection” that means the virus has been block by webshield and when you click on “Abort Connection” your safe to continue on surfing the internet.
First I would say don’t post duplicate threads for the same problem, this only creates duplication of effort and confusion.
