Please help on xmlka.com pop-up being blocked constantly by avast

Will send logs shortly…

Sorry, logs are now attached. For some strange reason, after running these scans (I did not fix anything), I am no longer getting the pop-ups, whereas I was getting them several times a day. Also, the computer is running much faster.

Thank you so much in advance!

Thank you so much for your help! Fixlog attached. Computer back to regular slow self (it’s old), however, no more annoying pop-up.

If all is well tomorrow let me know and I will tidy up

All is well, no more pop-ups! Just really slow but that has been typical of it ;D

This is probably part of the problem :

Percentage of memory in use: 69% Total physical RAM: 509.98 MB Available physical RAM: 153.3 MB

Unfortunately when XP came out that was a reasonable amount, but, over the years programmes become more memory intensive hence the slowdown

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

Thank you so much for your help! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. Do you guys take any types of donations?

Agreed on the memory. I am getting ready to replace it with a newer computer.

I will run for 24 hours and report back if any problems, as well as downloading and running the programs you recommended.

Thanks again and please let me know about a donation.

My pleasure, on this forum I work for free

Well, thank you so much for your help! I was completely lost and I hope for good karma to come your way!!
