C’mon guys, are you gonna update Latest threats list or simply remove it if you’re not willing to keep latest thrats really latest.
It’s just bad for avast! reputation if you don’t keep it up to date.
I suspected that people will belive that avast! haven’t updated since Safi-D and today i found one on Wilders. It’s bad anyway. Keep track of malware regulary or don’t do that at all. Looks real stupid trust me. Image below, taken few minutes ago (it’s year 2005,Safi is a thing of past year)
I agree with you. This links should be included too, because it is independent and reliable as a source of information: http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/
Don’t you agree with me. This link I will put on the blog too, after I consulted Kamulko & p3t3rb0nn. There is also a geographical variation in virus threats. What you refere to is the Greenland situation of the moment. Down under they fight glieder, and in Holland (Europe) we fight MyTob variant nr 104 reading in the subject line “Your email will be suspended”, sent by spoofmaster XXX
C’mon, still nothing done about this. It’s casting bad light on avast! because it looks like you haven’t updated it for months. We know thats not true, but potential new users don’t know that. And looks dumb since Safi-D certanly isn’t the latest threat.
I second Rejzor’s request :
when seeking virus info, I definitely don’t wastes my time checking avast’s site. :-\
Sure avast needs a good on-line up-to-date virus db
