Just downloaded and installed my new Avast install on my Windows Mobile 6 smart phone (Motorola) and it installed OK, but I have no place to enter in my Avast license code. The Avast screen comes up but the ‘Menu’ function key appears to not do anything. Once In a while the app comes up and says I have 60 days to enter in a license code, and I would love to, but it just does not let me.
OK, since there has been a bunch of views and no responses form anyone in support I have to assume that I am a bit screwed here?
Unusual for Avast since I have been using the desktop version of years and always gotten good support when I needed it, and that was on the free version.
I hate to poke, but I am curious to see if there is a possible solution yet? I still can’t get to anywhere to enter my code in, set any options, or anything. I THINK it is running because I see it on the task list, but…
Sorry for the delay. The first smartphone devices had only rectangle display (width was smaller) and new devices (like yours) are not fully supported right now. The main buttons are in the bottom, but you can’t see them.
I’m going to fix this problem, but not before two/three weeks, because we’re quite busy with avast 5 development.
