Are you having server problems because it takes forever to get a connection to the home page and even longer if I bookmark an individual post. Anybody else notice the new slowness?
Just a followup on the slowness issue. It seems like your SMF database has a bandwidth botttleneck issue. Please check your SMF and dataabse logs for errors because something is not right here. I have built and maintained many forums using SMF and I can see the signs that something is drastically wrong with your installation.

I’m not sure what sound pack you are talking about, but the additional Languages includes the Pirate talk option. AvastUI, Settings, language, Install additional languages.

The new interface is ok, but I can’t fin how to schedule Boot Scan now. Does anyone know?

It is called progress and development a completely new large version increase (from 7.0 to 8.0) is likely to have new functions/features.
The boot-time scan is with the rest of the scans, avastUI, Security, Antivirus - Scan Now and scroll down to the Boot-Time Scan.

hello everybody. i have avast free antivirus 8.0.1483 but i can not find the new interface, mine does not look like the one in the post of DavidR, why? greetings and have a nice week. 
There used to be several sound packs available as downloads like the Pirate voice pack. Johnny Rebel, Redneck and California Dude to name a few. There were also some in different languages. Just a break form the annoying default voice.

Looks good, but is there some sort of time limit before my post appears?
:-\ I tried several times on the new website, where to find aswclear.exe to DL it to remove my free avast due to registration problem but I can’t locate it. Why is not in Downloads or in Support parts. I have to go to the forum to look and get the link to the file.

Your site does not work with my internet (I’m from Iran)
Main site without subdomain does not work.
Other pages with subdomain, work properly.
Unfortunately there are US Embargoes on several countries and Iran is on that list, the main avast domain isn’t allowed access as it can be used to download the antivirus software (part of the restricted goods, etc.). But the sub domains are information only that is why you can access the forum and blog sub domains.
